That's the day Dr. Harris said he would induce labor as long as I was dilated. I'm going to have Belle home by Halloween! (which is second only to Christmas holiday-wise) He is my new favorite person. I thought I was going to have to go in and fight for it, but he gave in easily. He could teach Jared a thing or two about giving pregnant ladies what they want...
hahaha. I like this, "he could teach Jared a thing or two about giving pregnant ladies what they want..." I laughed out loud!!!!! I can't wait for Belle to get here!!!!
It's going well...still training...I've finished kinetics, unit-base, and central pharmacy training...I started training in the IV room yesterday, but today they had to pull me to work in central b/c someone called out. I'm getting closer to being on my own...which is scary but exciting at the same time-you know how it is. When I'm done training, I'm supposed to be mainly working as a unit-based pharmacist, splitting my time between the main hospital and Women's and Children's.
Time wasted.....hmm....I think about that every once in awhile. I guess it's not really wasted. It may be needed someday but I don't always keep that in perspective. Speaking of...how much are you working now?
Yuck. I hate talking about them because I get so flustered and sick at my stomach. Last Friday, we gave a baby shower at work for one of our psychiatrists (sp?) and she got on a roll about how stupid/awful republicans are, etc., etc. One of those. You would think somebody in that line of work would be a little more self-aware...You could just see people getting more and more uncomfortable. I leaned over to another pharmacist I work with who is also going to vote republican and said, "I'm taking the cake (that's what I brought) and leaving!" My friend said, "No, stay and only cut a piece for the Republicans!" ha.
I was in a similar situation once....only it wasn't politics. I was at a party and everyone there was completely dogging Auburn fans. I was so offended! I *almost* took my gift and ran out the door. Instead I waited a few weeks (it was during fball season a few years ago) and when Auburn beat Alabama I was pretty obnoxious to all of them! I think they learned their lesson. So, maybe if McCain wins, you can do something similar to that person.....or at least take pride in knowing that her man lost!!!
And you know how I know? (Other than the fact I got a GREAT parking place a work today?)...Well, I have still been searching for my long, lost outfit (Dog with a bone, I know) and today I saw online that the warehouse that manufactures the outfit was having a spring/summer clearance located in Columbus, GA. Guess where I'm working today? That's right, you see where this is headed...I got my outfit for $19.99 when the original price was $68 and the sale price at Cutie Pie was $34! HA!
My baby is one year old. I'm not even sure how that happened. We had a family party for him Saturday with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. Most of the family went in on a nice wooden swing set for him. Of course, everyone had to bring him a toy too and like his mom, he learned real quick how to rip into those presents. Then he would say, "Oh wow!" Very sweet. My mom even made him a little outfit that she smocked with a cupcake with one candle. He was precious...Of course, Jared thought it was a little TOO precious. I'll post picts when I get them...
