Lemme tell you about the fun I had at the airport. Security was ok, Aunt Laurie got me to the airport almost two hours before my plane had to leave.
They delayed my flight four times for a grand total of an hour and fifteen minutes because of weather in Atlanta. Then they started moving people from other flights onto our so that they wouldn't miss their connectors. The plane filled up and I didn't get on. The delayed departure time was 2:55 for the flight I was supposed to be on, and the flight next to us (also leaving for ATL) departed at 3:05(so it was boarding at the same time). But then it got delayed to 3:20, and they decided to put the standbys that didn't get on the first one (little ole me for one) onto that one.
We had to sit on the runway for a bit, but it wasn't as long as they thought it'd be. The flight was fairly smooth, until we started out decent into ATL, then there was some turbulence and the roughest landing I've ever experienced, but it wasn't that bad. We sat about fifteen minutes at the gate before they opened the doors, so I didn't get off the plane til 5:10.
I was very tired, almost four hours is waaay too much time to spend in an airport.
