Thought it was time to update, but I really didn't have anything to say so I thought I would wish you all a Happy Halloween. The kids can't wait. They ask almost everyday when is it going to be Halloween.
Two Questions: 1)What was your favorite costume from childhood? 2)If you were going to a costume party this year what would you dress up as?
tbird1) Not limited to Halloween, me and h would put on our red or blue underwear, with a red or blue cape and jump off the bed pretending we were flying, as superman and batman of course. 2) Same as #1 ;-) jk!

What are your kids dressing up as this year? 
marchmadnessThis Friday is Bible character day at co-op. Nathan is going as an angel (His choice) 
marchmadnessDaniel is Aaron, and Caleb as Joseph if he decides he is not too old to dress up. My favorite costume as a child was a butterfly. My weirdest was when David and I were 16 & 17 and dressed like Fred and Wilma. If I were to dress up this year, I would like to dress up like the lady from HP in the pink suit. Sorry, can't remember her name, and have David be Dumbledore, and Caleb -Malfoy, and Daniel-Harry, and Nathan-maybe a cat. But alas, I will not dress up.

kelassicI failed to mention that Todd and I are going to a murder mystery dinner and we are dressing as Jimmie Hendrix and Janice Joplin. Should be a hoot!! Can't' wait to see Todd with black make-up and a fro! 
kelassicThe kids costumes: Hope and Faith are princesses again this year. I think this is the third year in a row. Zeke is going to be a crew member from Disney Cars movie. I think Gabe is going to be Bob the Builder- a hand-me-down from Zeke.

dressednyellaI actually am invited to a costume party and have no idea what to be. It's kind of challenging when you're 8 months pregnant. :) Any ideas? 
marchmadnessBe warned. David dressed up one year with the fro and continued to wear it at any given opportunity to get on my nerves. Oh course he would never do anything like that.;)

crazy_mamaYep she did. Whenever she would hold her she would say "oh just holding her makes me want to nurse her." That is why I ALWAYS watched her anytime she held her. We eventually stopped visiting Frederic at work cause it was just weird.

Kids say the funniest things 06-24-07 08:31pm CST
Recently I have tried to write down cute comments the kids make. I thought I would share a few. Hope asked, "Mommy, when we get to Heaven can we stay up as late as we want to?" I'm not sure exactly what question I had asked but Zeke responded with, "I know because I'm a professional." Gabe was looking at a picture of our extended family that included Todd and Harris. He looked at one and said, "Daddy!" He looked at the other one and said, "More daddies!" Zeke picked me some flowers on Mother's Day and he said, "Happy Mother's Giving Day!" And last but not least, kids love to embarrass us and Gabe is no exception. Last month in services he was acting up a bit and I said, "Do you want a spank-spank?" Of course, I was whispering, but he responds in a not so low voice, "NO SPANK-SPANK, MOMMY, NO SPANK-SPANK!" [x]

Being a mother of 4 children ages 5 and under, I'm not sure what I may be able to add that is worthwhile, but it will be nice to have some adult conversation for a change!!
