We took refuge from the storm to Rebekah and Brian's in Centerville and had a wonderful visit with them in thier beautiful home and enjoyed those precious children. It was amazing, fun and educational. I wish I had been born with Rebekah's super organizational skills! She and Brian are an inspiration!

Happy Birthday Jo! No paddling but lots of cake! One of our favorites is a yellow butter cake, and mix Hershey's syrup with cool whip for the frosting. Very light and tastes amazing.
Daniel's mom used to take them trick or treating and tell them to give her all of the yucky dirt colored candy. (chocolate) They eventually caught on, but those were golden years.

That is a cute one. My parents got a dog. They never wanted dogs in the house. Well, this one is in the house. Then, they got it a playmate and then another. It's all dogs at their house.
I don't dislike September. The fact that it means August is over is the best part of it, and the evenings begin to be more pleasant. But it isn't my favorite month, it's just so-so. However, since your birthday is in September, well, that makes it a great month!
Nice! Wait 10 minutes is what they say. I got a fish chew toy at Walmart that Ivan loves. It is clear, about the size of a small crappie anatomically correct, that is bacon flavored. Took a little getting used to, but Ivan has jaws like a goat and this one is lasting.
Alexis and I made a trip to Dayton High School to get Bubba a transcript. He's finally getting the time and opportunity to take some college courses in MA.
Alexis was carried away with the mascot and wanted her picture made with it.
