I am still slacking the "update" department, yes. I have been under quite a bit of stress and it has been making me ill and updating has not been a priority.
And speaking of priorities, I need to get some of those in order. I have been given a bunch of decisions to make, and just have not been able to focus on my priorites the way I should be. I have been overwhelmed with emotions and just havent been able to process very well lately.
I hope my path will be laid out before me soon. I don't do well when things are in limbo, that's for sure. My stomach really doesnt like it, that's for sure.
Zach is doing well. He's growing like crazy, getting more and more smart by the day, it seems!! He's a super sweet boy. I see how much he loves babies and is so tender and loving on them. It really makes me sad I am not able to give him a sibling :-/
I'm afraid he is somewhat of a perfectionist. Its hard to tell your 3 year old things do not have to be perfect! He gets very frustrated when he is writing or putting stickers on pages if they dont turn out.
He is going to turn 4 in November. I cannot belive that at all! Time flies so quickly. It seems just like yesterday I was pregnant with him. I asked him what he wanted to be last nite, and he told me "A baseball player. Oh and a Fireman! Oh, and a Foot ball player. Oh, and a soccer kicker. What's that called, mommy?" It was really cute.
His prayers are so amazing. He is very thoughtful in them. He has also progressivly made them longer because he realized that the longer he prays, the longer he gets to stay awake LOL But still, he makes sure to mention everything hes thankful for. Its very precious.
Well, I will close now. I would still appreciate prayers to help figure out a few things and also for a few people I am having issues with dealing in my life. I need God's help in that, too.
Gary and I will be there on Wednesday night and again on Sunday morning. We are leaving on Sunday afternoon. I hope we can see you and Zach one of those times.
Jen, I will continue to pray for you and your decisions. I know stress can be hard on you physically and prayer is the best medicine! I hope things will settle down for you soon.
Zach is a doll! There will always be things to stress over and decission never go away, but God gives us all we need to make good choices. Pray, study & meditate on His words when you feel overwhelmed. He has told us that there is a way of escape from all this life throws at us. Let God catch some of these things for you and lean upon Him & He will give you rest. And peace that passes all our understanding. We serve an awesome God! And Zach will always be surrounded by friends and will have a few that will be like sibblings to him. And most important, he has a mommy who loves him and will always be there for him. God bless each of you and keep each of you in His care.
Remember when your momma taught you that? Well, that's part of the reason I havent been posting as much lately. It seems that a huge bought of negatisim has entered my life. I just can't find anything nice to say and I don't want to turn this into my "rants" site so, its just been better not to say anything at all.
In my past post I asked for prayers for some decisions. I still need those prayers, even more than ever because it seems that once I make up my mind based on the choices, a few new choices are put in there. So, I'm still trying to make the best choices for Zach and I right now, and its hard.
As far as other things other things go, I'm just really dissapointed in a few people I have called friends in the past and I hope I can become a better friend in the future by it. I am just tired of people being fake. Come on, be real, people! I expect it from politicians but not friends, or those who call themselves your friend.
Work is rough. Thats all I'm going to say about that. I am really going to sound negative if I go into that.
On to positive things. (I'm really trying here...sorry its been a rough few weeks...) I'll talk about Zach! Zach is growing like a weed! He had a maaajor growth spurt. One week, he was wearing his 3T pants to church, the next week, they were high waters on him. I had to go out and buy 4T and cinch them as tight as they go, poor thing.
He is gettin so smart now. Just the concepts he comes up with now. Its so funny to listen to him talk things through. And boy does he talk! Non-stop. He's just like his momma! He's such a blessing from God.
He's at my parents right now. I really miss him when he goes there. Don't get me wrong, I like my "free" time (not that I do anything fun but clean or whatever, but still) I just miss him!
OKay, well, I'm going to close now. I'm sorry about the negativity. Sometimes it happens!

Sometimes we all need to get on our soapbox...it's okay. I have dealt with fake people before...it's really hard when they are Christians. Hope everything works out for you...I'll keep praying. That is about the only thing I can do from this distance. So glad Zach brings so much joy to your life. They are such a blessing!!!
I pray that you will be able to make the right decisions for your family and then positive feeling will flow in! Don't worry..we all have times when we feel negative.
Going through discouraging times is part of everyones life. But it will pass and you will feel so good after it has. As far as making decisions, I was told once that if you are having a really hard time deciding between a couple things , then they are probably both good options and either one will work out. You are in my prayers!
Venting is good, you handled yourslef well. Jen as long as all those choices are made with God right in the middle of them they will be fine. You can weed things out by this also, if God isn't in the middle get rid of it as a choice. People will always disappoint us Jen, I've thought that friends and some family really loved us only to find out they didn't at all. It breaks our hearts, but we have to learn not to depend on others to make us happy. Know that God is the only one including ourselves that won't disappoint us. Praying for you. Please keep me in your prayers as I go through breast cancer screening.
Hi Jenny. Just remember we are promised to not be given more than we can bear and that we do have an escape through having that strong faith in God that will help us through even the most trying of times. Keep your prayer life strong, because it will help lessen the negativity. I'll keep you in my prayers.
Yes, Jenny, I do need to update LOL. June was a busy month. My roomate was out of town for 3 of the 4 weeks. So I had 2 kiddos full time (the 9yr old went to her dads). Then I had 2 functions at my house and my dad's retirement party, so I was kept very busy.
July is already over and I don't know where the time has gone. I'm sure ready for the heat to be gone, that's for sure! The boys want to go out all the time and its just tooo hot! Zach go to go to lego land with my parents this past week (or as he says this past nite).
I'd like you all to pray for me. There is a few things I'm trying to decide on and I want to make sure I make the decision thats the best, but also right. I'm not going to go into it now, because I am not fully sure about it all, but just need have help with the decisions.....its kinda a stressful thing.

Well, Zach has been at my mom's for a few days and I decided to do something creative. I love to scrap book. I Just dont have time to put everything away and get everything out each time I have 20 minutes to work on a project. So, I decided to start trying digital scrapbooking! Its so much fun.
That led me to designing a party invitation for an upcoming event I am going to have, and then I decided to see what else I could do! Well, check it out! I decided to try and bring in some extra money doing announcements, and more... check out my creations. I need more babies to model for me, LOL Lilia is going to be all over these cards!!! I have to go search for some of Zachs old baby pics...

Digital scrapbooking is a must for me since my back is yuckie! You've seen the books I've made for Kaylie each year. I have so many scrapbooking materials but can't physically do them. So have fun with your new hobby it is sooo much fun!

he stepped down from being the sales director and is now just working special projects so he doesn't have to come in to work. i understand but am very saddened by it as i have a great deal of respect for him bc of his work ethic.
I'm not sure what happened to those few pictures down there...they don't work on my blog either. I'll try and upload them later today.
Weekend was good. On Friday nite, we went to a BarnSide movie (a huge screen on the side of a barn) at the Clouse's house. It was alot of fun. We saw Zach's favorite moive, Cars. He did good, except towards the end he wanted to dance infront of projector to see his captain feathersword hat. It was quite funny. They had it set up all neat like a candy store and the kids got to load up on sugar and popcorn. I, like a forgetful person, forgot my camera, so I only took like 3 with my phone.
Saturday, we went to my parents house for a "Captain Feathersword-Bye-Bye-Binkie-Party". We all wore eye patches (Zach wore his "Real" pirate costume) and we had cupcakes celebrating the non-use of Binkie. We made up a song and sang to him about how he's a big boy now. I think we are still trying to convince him its really gone! But, he's really doing good. Not asking too much about it and no more tears at bed. *happy dance*. I do have pics of that on my camera, but I'll upload them later today when I figure out those other pics!!
Sunday started our gosple meeting with Harold Comer. My family had him over for lunch (the Leaches too). We had a nice afternoon. He's a very sweet man. We got to talk about alot of things at lunch. Zach was very interactive with him, and it was really cute to see him talk like a pirate and tell him about his party the day before.
After church we went to Bradley and Becky's for our young people's Bible study. It was a small crowd, so it was nice and intimate. I had alot of fun with those Greeley girls and Cara. Zach was so excited with Indie (their dog) got to come out and play. He's such a nice little doggie. Zach didnt want to leave!! She made really yummy Taco Salad. I wish I was eating some now!!!
Well, Zach is waking and Jay is tearing apart the play room, so I should get going. Maaaan! I shoulda taken pics of Zach and Indie!
oh..and... CONGRATS to Mindle and Hailey on their engagement! I am so excite for them and pray they will seek God in their upcoming marriage! Yippe for such a sweet, God-loving, God-fearing couple!!!
