We're having a cookout with Daniel's sweet grill this coming Saturday, August 30 from 5pm - ??? Bring a side, drink, dessert, and a friend. Everyone welcome.
I just found out I've been cast in a new musical that is going to New York in September. It's called "Motherhood: The Musical". My character is 9 months preg-o and 3 other moms are throwing a shower for me, telling their funny and moving stories about motherhood, etc. The script is pretty hilarious. I get to sing a whole song about the joys of being an Avon lady.
We start rehearsal Friday and will hit NYC for readings with production companies and a New Works Festival September 20. They think there will be a run at TPAC and maybe some other regional theaters also. Yee-haw.
wait, you didn't audition for it they just cast you in it? gee, that was nice! kidding. I'm sure you'll do great and I bet it'll be a lot of fun! Not sure about the song about the 'joys' of being an Avon lady, though... :P
That sounds like a fun opportunity. I would hate to be playing 9 months pregnant for long. Maybe you could talk them into letting you be a cute 6 months pregnant! Keep us posted on how it's going. Miss you!

Ditto what Misty said. But I have a watch line to prove I did get SOME sun. :) The cruise was awesome. So beautiful and relaxing. How's the show going? I miss hanging out with you! Hope you have a good week.

it is not doubt for the greater good that i was not filmed. as is public knowledge, i am not photogenic. a few weeks ago, i finally looked at the foto they took for the member's bulletin board here in BG. Um, "hideous" is too slight a word to describe said picture. and so i went home, found a picture of Ty Penington (he was in an ad in a mag) and taped that over my own cabeza. a definite improvement. i'm thinking that i will periodically update the false head, maybe doing something seasonal like Michael Myers for Christmas and Santa for Memorial Day
