Today I heard a really terrible stat. My law professor said that according to the latest numbers, 22% of the people on the road have NO insurance coverage at all. On top of that, a majority of the other 78% have the minimum amount of coverage. That's very scary to think about.
Well this has been a GREAT Monday! I got some really good sleep, enjoyed some cooler weather this morning, got two good test grades back, had lunch with Courtney, work wasn't that bad, I had 9 new Justice League action figures in the mail when I got home, Heroes was on, Monday Night Football was exciting, I won both my fantasy football matchups thanks to that game, and on top of all that the A1 Thick and Hearty is back at Whataburger. What a day!
All I saw was A1 Thick and Hearty. There was no need for anything else to explain your day, the A1 Thick and Hearty was sufficient. It can make any day a great day.
Tonight America has taken a new step in its history and even though we don't agree with the country and its newly elected leader we need to remember that God has a plan and ultimately his WILL will be done.
I just wonder how many people that voted were actually informed on the candidates and how many people voted simply because he was not George Bush. And I also wonder if any other president in our history has faced more backlash for things that were completely out of his control. George Bush could not do anything about the terrorists attacks on New York (was this really that different from the attack on Pearl Harbor because the reaction by the American people was), the hurricanes that devastated much of the south, or the opposing party nose diving our economy, but he took all the heat for it and I'm sure if the economy corrects itself like in the past that Obama will be praised for it.
Stand strong, pray daily, and be a light in the world
And I am sick of the media trying to prove it was a good decision by saying that the world was celebrating his victory. That is a bad sign. The rest of the world wants to see a weak US and watch us fail. The reason they celebrated was because they know Obama only made the US weaker.
I'm watching Cash Cab right now and if you don't know what that is, it's a game show on Discovery Channel. Passengers in New York get in a cab and then have to answer general knowledge questions on the way to their destination. They also have two shout outs, one mobile and one street. They have 3 strikes before the game is over. I explained all that because as I was watching I started wondering who I would want in the cash cab with me to win some money! So....who would you want with you in the cash cab? The cab seats up to 5 people and you must have at least 2 people including yourself so who would you pick and why?
I don't really have much to say. In fact, I'm just typing because I love the way my illuminated keyboard looks in a dark room and with the dark background of Pleonast taking up the screen and I'm too restless to sleep. It would help if my bed wasn't terribly uncomfortable and lumpy but oh well. I'm seriously regretting working 16 hours this semester. I only worked 12 last semester and it was so much nicer. I wake up every Monday and wish it were Friday and it wouldn't be so bad if there was anything to do at work. On Monday and Wednesday if I don't go on drives to deliver mail then all I do is sit at a computer for 4 hours and then go home. If I do go on drives, and I always do on Tuesday and Thursday, then I sit on the computer for an hour and half...go on drives, and then come back and sit on the computer for an hour. It's mind numbingly boring. Anyone who would like to donate to the Joel doesn't wanna work at a pointless mind numbingly boring job in his last college semester fund can feel free to do so. Send all cash and checks directly to me. Also, that may be the longest name of a fund ever. Someone look that up. Alright I'm turning off the tv, putting on some soft music, and getting back into bed. I hope everyone has a good week.
