after a bit of wondering what rooms are & how they work, i made one.
i am a photographer & decided to use the rooms for ongoing projects i'm working on. the first one is about my grandmother's alzheimer's. i'm documenting her progression, so there will be updates.
I felt the same thing when I went to my grandparents house last month in Ft Lauderdate; every other house has changed but my grandparents down there still have the same house, even my parents house is less familiar in a big way.
i love (in a way) that mom is wearing her pink bracelet. we use these to keep our house keys on. we have to keep the doors locked all the time. as you well know, stacy, grandma is prone to escape!
and she is so very quiet about it. she must have been a burglar in a former life, b/c she escaped me one time, and I about had a heart attack! Luckily your dad intercepted her before she got to the highway.
so, it's been a long time in coming. i have trouble joining things. i don't know what this stems from. but i promised my dear pal stacy clouse (nee white) that i would make a pleonast account.
spring breaks are good times to do these things.
thankfully, it's not my own personal spring break anymore. i finally graduated. it's the spring break of my students. i'm working as a full time math tutor at a charter school in south chicago.
is this the job i want for the rest of my life? absolutely not. but every day is an adventure.
