I'm officially moved out (for now) into my parents house. I'll only be here for about a week, then off to Alabama for a month, then off to California for 10. It's kind of hard to know what to unpack and what not to, because I'll be taking very little to AL. While stayin in the barracks on base there I'll pretty much only be takin uniforms and other essentials. (this is the place where I went to boot camp bout 2 years ago, so I'll probably be pretty tense when I get there, lol). I'm now tired from moving, so I'm gunna go crash
So my movin out is becoming a little bit more real (as i'm packing up). But i've been here for bout 2 years w/ a "few" guys and it's been great livin w/ youguys i'll definitely miss the good times, lol. Just as i'm sure you'll miss some things but probably not some other things (and i'll do those tonight, lol). It's been great yall. Good luck livin with 2 more guys
At the end of this month (Aug 30th) i'll be havin a goin away party at my parents house from bout 3-6pm. It's a come and go kindof thing, so any one's welcome to come. I'll keep ya posted on any more important info ;)
So guess what?? you get to here about my mushy weekend w/ my awesome g/f :)!
I had a BLAST with her, and even after 6 months it still seems like we're just beginning our relationship. All the little things still have their special meaning and we make other couples sick with how lovey dovey we are, haHA!lol. And it was very evident this weekend too.
We went to the cheesecake factory first for dinner, stuffed ourselves sick, acted a lil immature because of the overly fancyness of the whole place, lol. Went to go see "The dark knight" (and didn't have to drag her to go see it, which I'm sure is more than any of you guys could say, lol) :) and we both even laughed at parts of the movie where no one else did lol. Took her to the Museum of Natural Science and it was really cool! Even though majority of the people there were little kids we didn't care, we were still playin w/ all the cool stuff there. Then I thought I'd try to impress her by takin her to a contemporary art museum (she really likes contemporary art, ya.. I did my homework) but the place was empty except for a room full of fake snow. It was still awesome very awesome.
Again, I don't think I could've had as much fun with anyone else. she's my best friend, and that's all a guy can really ask for...and she's pretty hot..so that's nice too, lol :o) But i've said it before, i'm the luckiest guy there is, and I can't wait to see what the next six months will bring us. I love you
that's weird, our row was busting up about his awkwardness in that nurse's outfit. and when he threw his hands up in the air and started banging on that remote control LOL
we definitely laughed at the part. i thought it was weird that some people didn't because he was completely hilarious in the nurse outfit. jacob didn't have to drag me to see that movie either. ;0)
So I got some...not so great but not so bad type news last week (I didn't wanna post till I told someone first :o) Most of you may know I was to move to Cali some time in Nov...This has changed to a sooner date; 1 Sept. yea in about a month. First I'll be going to Maxwell AFB, AL (near Montgomery) for about 1 month, then out to Cali for 10 months. I'm sorry to all those who might be out in AL but I doubt I'd be able to go anywhere to pay a visit:(..but we'll see.
PLEASE please pray for me..it's gunna hard enough leavin everyone behind. But, with the direction that our Country might be heading in this new election coming up is a bit dis-settling and makes my path a bit more difficult to walk (since i'll have to work for and obey the orders of whoever's in office) ALSO, somethin that makes this all much harder than it already is, is when I made my decision I didn't think I'd meet my best-friend/girlfriend either. So pray for us both too :)
I've actually come to not worry so much recently because I know that God will direct my paths :)
Ok, now that the bad news is over with, I had an awesome time this weekend in cville with...pretty much everyone that I don't wanna link to, lol. But I stayed over at their house and had an awesome time hangin out w/ my girl :o) Much fun was had!
btw, Our 6 month anniversary is this weekend, wooohooo! shya it's a big deal ;o)
Oh my...that soon! We'll miss you for sure. I would assume that the Perry Hill Rd. church of Christ will be the closest to you while you're in Montgomery. It's a good group of Christians.
oh adam you will be fine! I know that you must be exciter/nervous/sad/happy all at once. juse keep your faith and everything will fall into place. I hope we get to see u again before u go.. if not we will have to fly out to cali and spy on u : ]
