:) That actually says, My Dad is going to China! Yep, today at 3 my dad leaves to go to Dallas first and then tomorrow will leave from dallas to go to Shanghai China! He works for Trane air conditioning, and no he is not going there to provide air conditioning for the Olympic teams. He is going there for his work to recruit some more employees :). Please keep him in your prayers to have a safe trip there and back!
Tonight I get to go bowling!! Very excited(and a little scared)because the last time i went bowling, I was just a wee tot and could barely lift the bowling ball out of the rack. Also(why i'm scared)is that last time i went bowling, i tried to throw the ball down the ally, but instead the ball landed on by big toe and cracked it! So wish me luck that i won't break anything. :D

The Irving Youth Lectures were incredible this year! We left Friday afternoon with my family and one of my cousins. The ride there was pretty fun; we watched a very stupid, but oddly funny movie called "College Road Trip" that had one pretty funny part where the dad is over hearing some other dads talking about their daughters going off to far off colleges at a shooting range and the dad blows up his target with a shotgun when its a pistol range. Oh well, i thought it was funny. :) Checked into the hotel, ate at the chili's we eat at every year(and even in the same booth) and then went to the lectures at Westside Church of Christ. We sang some songs(which was INCREDIBLE) and then heard a sermon from Warren Berkley on Isaiah and a sermon about David and Goliath from Paul Sheehan.
That night was so much fun! After the services me, my sisters, and my cousin(Alex Meadows if anybody knows him) went to Target and bought all the candy we could carry!! hehehe. Right before we started playing games, me and alex went outside the get the cards out of the car. When we went back up the elevator....we couldn't remember what our room number was! So we tried all the rooms by the elavator, sticking the card into the slot and then jumping back afraid some crazy old man would come out and wack us with his cane. About 10 doors later figured out we were on the wrong side of the hotel. Wow we are stupid. :) We then got on extreme sugar highs that night while playing Hearts and Spades and doing some prank phone calls. You do not want to see me when im on that much of an extreme sugar high.....it's just scary. :)
That night I got about an hour or 2 of sleep(maybe 3). Me and Alex had to share a bed, so he fell asleep first and i was just laying there thinking happy thoughts, when his leg flys toward my head and i end up curled up in a little ball with him spread eagled all over the bed. I see a little space over where he had been sleeping, so I go over there and lay down, just about fall asleep, when here comes his leg AGAIN. So, i actually stand up, get out of bed, try to sleep in a chair(it doesnt work) and finally find the couch cushions on the floor which were actually more comfortable than that couch matress. :) The night wasn't over yet though. AHHHHH! In the middle of the night, i wake up to see alex turn over in bed, sit up, and belch right in my face. (in the morning he didn't remember any of this)
So after a sleepless night we went to the Irving mall where me and Alex wandered around getting exercise by going the wrong way on escalators. aaaand my sisters went shopping of course, i mean, what else is there to do in a mall? After the mall we went over to Westside again where we heard some incredible sermons about David and Bathsheba and about Samson from David Thomley and Don Truex. We then stayed for their hour long singing which was....wow. imagine about 576 people singing praises to God. :)
So then we made our way home with me and Alex listening to songs on his CD player about Toast. haha. Oh and sorry this post was so long. Its just one of those times where you start typing and you can't stop. :]
