Having somewhat left blogging for a short period of time thanks to Battlfield Heroes, I have somewhat liked forum life (and so do many other people. Yeah. (As apposed to like, "facebook" [facebook joke that was previously here: now censored. I mean, deleted xD])

So yeah -- I may be looking for another blog site other than pleonast. Of course, because my private thoughts would not be posted, cuz more/other people would see it. However, I would get more traffic to my other site.

So yeah -- not much progress on the site or forums, as I had reinstalled XP. My compeh was running slow, and since it's just one of those things one should do every once in a while -- I decided to do it! It also helped be realize how much junk i has on my compy. : /
So no updates as of yet! I, of course (lol) backed up all of my files, d/l'ed Aptana again, so... I'm ready to work. I'm also taking a class on JavaScript (I know the fundimentals), so hopefully soon I may able to apply that knowledge.
I really need to get back into my web design work, indeed.

I have stalled enough! I now have something to post about!
Ok, recently, I made a squad (gaming clan) called Delta Squad Vigilantes, or DS.V (that's the clan tag). The idea is a squad/clan that plays only free-to-play games. Currently, DS.V is playing Tremulous, Combat Arms, Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory, but will be playing Battlefield Heroes when open beta is released.
I have never heard of a clan or guild of any sort play only free to play games, so I thought the idea was pretty good.
I don't want to say that freewebs is, bad cuz it's not, but the website builder is very limited. Besides, doing it myself gives me and XP boost plus some manergy points (I think... I need to read the rules).
So, I got a simple-looking site set up, and let it be for about a month (here is a link to an older page, so you can see the old site's look and feel: News page)
After about a month or so, I decided to improve the site. I downloaded a cool template (the cascading style sheet included is excellent!!!), and decided to work on the site.
I had some experience with a program called KompoZer, but after some troubles with some code re-formatting, I rage quit'd from it, and downloaded (and now currently use) Aptana. If you're into that kind of stuff, download it here: Aptana.com

So yeah -- I'm having some problems with my Google custom search (which was working a while ago). Freewebs really messed something up with the side column backround image, it looks fine in the Aptana's IE and FF previews. So yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a Freewebs issue. And the links at the top (which aren't there, i know!)- on the top left corner of banner logo image - are not showing up. Again, it looks fine in Aptana's previews.
Good 'ol Flea Face was kind enough to host the squad's forums on his website -- view them at http://dsvigilantes.thewickedflea.com/index.php. Yes, I know it need lot-'o-work; it still has the MyBB logo in the corner! Speaking of which -- MyBB is puuuuuuuuuuuure win.
So yeah -- I've got a website, I've got forums, now I need some members, some affiliates, some sponsors, some other clans with which DS.V can have wars with, oh man. It's gonna be fun.
