Congrats! I always check your blog when I get on pleo. I ended up giving in and getting an account because so many of the people I read went private. I am enjoying the grocery game group....I see you are too!
I did okay. It is both sad and exciting at the same time. She has been looking forward to this for a long time. Lauren had a rough time at first this morning. She kept telling me to go back and get Sissy. When it was time to go get Emma at noon, she got all excited amd ran for the van.
I'm having an Usborne Book Show to earn free books for my girls!
You're invited to join me Thursday, July 31 at 7:00PM at my home. 6208 Shetland Cr., Trussville. Bring your friends!
If you don't live here, you can still check out all the amazing Usborne Books at www.ubah.com/HOS117991 and have fun new books shipped straight to you.
They have books for all ages. My girls enjoy the puzzle books, 1001 things to find, and the colorful touch and feel books.
Of course you are. I love you and miss seeing you and B and the girls. I've got to work and cut grass before going to Jacksonville on Saturday night. Patrick is preaching there Sunday morning. But maybe I can see y'all next week? I'm still planning on keeping the girls on your Birthday!
Love it when that happens. Isn't technology great sometimes?!? I'd like to come back tonight, but don't think we'll be able to. The kids really enjoyed their classes though.
I'm a little late in the spring cleaning department. I've been going through the house gathering things for a yard sale to be held sometime this summer.
Today Thing 1 & I purchased new flowers for the flower beds by the porch. I also got a couple potted plants to go on my plant stands I found in the basement (that we got 8 years ago!) On his request, I made B a 'Honey Do' list. I'm hoping to get my new wall sconces hung and the carpets cleaned. I'm waiting on my new patterns to arrive so I can make cute aprons for myself and the Things. They are so cute! They just LOVE to help in the kitchen and that makes my day!
We've invited my parents, my sister and her boyfriend over for Father's Day. We're going to make a homemade meal and relax versus standing in line at a restaurant! I'm still clueless as far as choosing a gift for my dad. He usually gives a list, but not this year. I'm thinking of making him a "Coupon Book for Dad." Mom used to give us those for Christmas growing up and they were so much fun.
Please pray for Thing 2. She has a runny nose and is uber grumpy! She is fighting a nap today. We're going to Konomi tonight for dinner. I can't wait to see the girls' reaction!
We'll be headed to Destin in a week or so. The Things are really excited. I admit that the beach is not my favorite vacation destination. I always get a sunburn and I just feel so unproductive laying around! Spending time w/ B's family is fun though and I don't have to deal with swim diapers anymore. WOOHOO!
So, if YOU were to give your dad a coupon for something, what would it be?
Nice to "meet" you, even though I imagine that we've met at some point in the past, even though we both don't remember.
Regarding John David, my dad just mentioned to me last night the same thing you mentioned...that it sounds eerily like Casey Grant's problem. I certainly hope that's not the case.
It was really cool. We picked up fruit and nugget trays from Chick Fila and had a picnic. It was Harry Potter themed and they had other music like Pirates and John Williams (star wars, superman, etc). Boy was it humid though. They are doing classical music next month!
Thanks, Lynn. Those teeth finally made an appearance yesterday! Hopefully, she'll get back into her sleeping through the night pattern soon. But, she's happy and healthy so that's the main thing. Thanks again.
Hey...would it be possible for me to close out tomorrow? we are coming to mom's tonight after church.....i could run by tomorrow on my way home......Please let me know!! thanks!!
