We are having a weekend Gospel Meeting beginning today, Friday, March 7 with Kevin Clark.
Services are at 7 on Friday and Saturday and 9:30, 10:20, 4:00pm on Sunday with a singing service at 5:00pm on Sunday.
For those of you who haven't heard him : Kevin Clark, he is an AMAZING speaker.

I've only been working at my new job for about a month now. But, i feel like i am bringing my work home with me.
Yesterday, i helped a professor add form fields to a Word document and then protect it with a password. Nothing difficult, regular job stuff.
Well, last night, i had a dream that I went out on the web, where the document was going to be published, and tried to fill in the form field -- and it didn't work. I proceeded to cry and scream. ...thank goodness that was only a dream. In reality, i believe the form is working just fine :-)
On a better note, Meg, my cousin Jacob, and I went to the Baron's baseball game last night. I hadn't been to a game in ....about 12 years. I had a good time, especially because we got to eat icecream out of those little plastic baseball helmets. :-) yum yum.
Many thanks to Sarah for the awesome quilt she sent me! I am going to carry it everywhere with me! -- as if i were 3 again and need a security blanket! Thank you!
My grandmother is coming home from the hospital today! That is good news! For those that didn't know, she had back surgery last Thursday. The doctors say she progressing quite fast and she is doing well! please keep her in your Prayers.

I really like my new job -- still.
Here is a list of reasons i like it:
- they use the same phones as Auburn -- no having to learn how to transfer calls again.
- 1 hour lunch breaks -- with which i usually go shopping.
-working 3 minutes from Brookwood mall.
- my own desk.
- hot water in the bathrooms.
- i am the youngest person who works here -- everyone else is around 40-50. Its like working with your parents -- but, they dont get on to you.
- I have a bowl of candy on my desk for passers by.
- My immediate office is me and 3 men. No gossip.
- I have already been "reprimanded" for looking at wedding stuff. They just laughed. -- it reminded me of working with Skinny and Matt Banta.
- Today, the 70-something Mrs. Ann danced around.
- We have birthday parties once a month for everyone on the floor who has a birthday that month. Our party was today -- cake, icecream, cookies.
-there are only about 4 women who work on the entire floor (out of about 30 people) -- so the bathrooms are always really clean.
-The men in the office talk about spiritual things, devotionals, etc -- its good to work with people who care about the Lord.
There is a sign in the kitchen (yes, there is a kitchen on our floor) that says something to the effect of, "Christians sometimes disagree, but they should all be in the same position" -- and it is a picture of a man praying. Its good to work with people who are spiritually minded -- no matter where they go to church. |
