So the plans have changed. I didn't know that there was so much going on this month.

We are going to do a singing at our house on the 18th - not the 11th. And because others have stuff planned, we are not going to have the monthly class at our house on the 25th.

So I am going to combine them both into one. If you normally come to the monthly class, please come on to the singing on the 18th at 5pm. We will eat first then sing.

Let me know if you plan on coming... I've got my hopes up for a great turnout.

Hey everyone... Sorry for the long break in Bible studies lately, but my life has been very busy. Between preaching, coaching a soccer team, playing on a soccer team, and life in general I have not had time to breath. Here's the dates Hollie and I have figured out for October:

Singing Saturday October 11th at 5pm - This singing is for anyone and everyone who'd want to attend.

Young People's Class (teens and twenties) Saturday October 25th.

If you think you may be attending these please let me know. If there isn't any interest in the Bible class we simply will not have it. So I need to know

Sorry guys... I pretty much forgot about the class that was supposed to be at our house this Saturday. As an excuse I have had a lot going on - I am coaching a u-14 coed soccer team (that's mostly a bunch of whiney girls... no offense ladies) and am playing on a men's soccer team as well.

So I will work something out soon to make up for it. Again, I am very sorry about it and I hope no one made huge plans around the class this time around.

By the way - the outline and the powerpoint that I used for the last class is now on our church website. It's right there on the home page.

Someone left a really nice cupcake holder at our house after the Bible study. It had some really good cupcakes with chocolate icing on them. Does anyone want to claim the container? (Note: My stomach has already claimed the cupcakes themselves).

Thanks to everyone who came to the class. I think this was one of our best turnouts yet. I know I counted sixty people and there were a few more on the back porch. I hope the lesson was beneficial... I know we covered "millions and millions of years" of material in just a little while, but maybe you got something out of it anyway.

If you want to check some more stuff out, here's a page that has some good information on it. This Kent Hovind guy makes some really good points. He misses the boat on how to become a Christian, but his information on evolution, dinosaurs, and other such things is good.
