Question for those around Birmingham 10-09-08 02:21pm CST
Does any know where you can get a Bible rebound for under $50?
My older Bible (that I LOVE) is falling apart and I called the Family Christian Store and the guy they have do it (out of Gadsden) charges $80-$100.

Amber Murrell 10-09-08 10:11am CST
I'm sure most have heard on other forums, but I thought I would post here just in case. If you know the Murrell's that have directed AL FC Camp, you most likely know their daughter Amber. Last Saturday her apartment building in Nashville, caught fire, and she lost everything. Thank God she was not hurt and had renter's insurance, but it will take a while for that to kick in.

If you would like to help, she was asked to register at Target and you can view that and make purchases online. Also, I am collecting old pictures from camp if you have spares you would like to donate to send to her - those things are of course irreplaceable.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers.
lb1178I am so sorry to hear this news!! Praying for her!!!!
rica5219that's terrible!!!!! I'll definitely keep her in my prayers.

There were 125 civilians and military personnel at the Pentagon.

1,609 people lost a spouse or partner on 9/11. More than 3,051 children lost parents.

While there were mostly Americans killed in this horrific attack one must mention (how ever small the group) that non survivors from other countries - 327 foreign nationals.

There are many that need our prayers today. Let's not forget them.

Blessed 07-30-08 10:25am CST

Aren't they beautiful?
My boyfriend is one of the sweetest people on this earth.

If you're near The Cheesecake Factory today - go get some cheesecake for $1.50! It's their 30th anniversary. Warning though...I think it's available at that price for dine-in only.
