Ok..I'll say a bit more. This past weekend in Austin was so much fun! I love the Pennington family and everyone I had a chance to see this weekend. I had a blast with my co-riders to and from Austin; y'all rock! I took a few photos and I'll be posting them up soon. Oh yeah and I bought a Hand-Carved Rope Djembe; it sounds awesome!
hey alex. nice meeting you. i can only imagine what a 3 hour road trip with your co-riders must have been like. especially if he had a djembe drum within reach... good times!
AND I can't tell you how many people LOVED that YOU were able to come! You are always shining a cool light on all who are close-by! You and your camera! Kinda worried what you might have cought! ESPECIALLY the pouty ones of our little stinky Mezcan one!
This wedding took me to the town of Hempstead, Texas. Where a great friend of mine was going to change his life for the better. Brett has always been a great friend to me and it makes me very happy to see that he's found his true love. Alisha is one great gal and I'm happy for her as well because I know Brett will treat her right.
Here the sneak peek of Brett and Alisha's wonderful day!
I'd also like to take a moment to say thank you to my photo assistant, Ross Hudgins; you rocked!
These are great pictures! You need to edit out the goofy looking preacher, though. I love the one of Brett and his dad. I also like the shot of them on the golf course together. The title photo was cool, too.

Komen Houston Race for the Cure®
===================
Hey everyone,
As in years past and now this year I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the 2008 Komen Houston Race for the Cure® being held on October 4th in downtown Houston. One in eight women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime and the more funds we raise, the more the Komen Houston Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® can give back to the community to fight against breast cancer. Since one woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 3 minutes in the United States, there is an incredible need for your support.
Please join me in the fight by pledging in support of my participation in the Race. Your tax-deductible contribution will fund innovative outreach and awareness programs for medically underserved communities in Houston and surrounding areas and national cutting-edge research. It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause. You can make a donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. Whatever you can give will help! I truly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
If you would like to join me on Oct 4th, please contact me and we'll form a walk team.

- Edouard -
Well, this week has been interesting especially with all the news with Tropical Storm Edouard. Thankfully, nothing really happened and we just got some needed rain; some more than others.
- Photography Calendar -
WOW! My 2008 and some for 2009 calendar is filling up fast. Thank you to everyone who in some way shape or form have told others about me. Get with me on your upcoming photo needs.
- One of the lucky few -
Yep..I'm one of the lucky few who's been selected to beta test the new version of pleonast. There's still lots of testing to do and Kennon and crew working hard to code it all. But from what I see now, it's wicked awesome!
- Olympics 2008 -
It's weird to think that 4 years ago my brother was at the Olympics in Athens. Well this Friday the summer games are back and it will be interesting to see who's rises above all the rest. I'm also going to be interesting to see how China behaves during the games. From all the news stories I've heard, hosting the Olympics is more like a curse than a blessing. I also do pray that everyone stays safe and nothing major happens.
ALEX! I dont know if you remember me but we have met a few times at singings and lectures, i just wanted to say that i LOVE all of your photos! I might need you to take some pics for me! When it gets closer to that time i will for sure keep you in mind!!
Thats awesome! Its good to hear that business is booming! The only thing is that i do not have any dates yet... :( it will most likely be in the spring or summer of 09 and i wish so bad i had more infor for you!! But i really wanted to tell you that i love your work and i hope things work out to where you can shoot for us!
And i wont be at the singing! In fact, i didnt even know that yall were having one! I wish i had know sooner and i would have done my best to make plans to come! I love singing!
Kind of. Girl meets boy, boy is a vampire, belongs to family of vampires, but they're all good vampires. Different, but so awesome. It's an easy read too, and not your typical vampire stuff. And yes, it's the new HP, I guess. I've only been in it since Sunday, but I already can't wait for the movie to come out in Dec!
How are you, btw?
This week my family and friends here had a really nice surprise. We got to visit with a preacher and his wife whom many of us have known for years. He is from up north. He told all of the singles here at the congregation here that the singles up there in the different places around the state or maybe even two states started getting together. He said that it was any aged single who was counted to be adult age. The group enjoy one another so very much and is growing all the time. I told him how some attempts of some christians singles and others to do the same here in Texas has happened, but that it sounded like the north is beating the south...lol. He laughed. I told him, Alex of your photo talents and how cool it would have been to have had some fun pictures of all of the singles having fun that weekend. So, the next time there is a singles group get together, maybe you would do us all a big favor and take a few pics and post them on your pleonast site so we new and old friends can laugh and remember the great time we christians singles were blessed with????? lol It's just a thought.
I capture photos.
Life’s moments frozen in time.
