I always watch the big tree outside my living room window...I can see it from the dining room table or sitting on the sofa.. I watch the birds and squirrel playing and flittling along the branches...this time of year it is really beautiful with all the yellow leaves...it is an old gnarly tree...some of the big branched have broken off in the storms that it has with stood..thru the years....almost what we christians are to do..weather the storms..and hold the faith...with this new president...I am trying to remember that..Anyhow getting off my subject..I really love this time of year when nature shows all her glory...
I wish I could share your wonderful attitude about fall! I'm less joyful about this season though since it's a precursor to winter. I'm glad that you choose to find and enjoy the beauty in the fall season. I need to focus on it's beauty rather than the reasons why I struggle with it. Love you!!
I love this time of year, too. The leaves are just absolutely gorgeous & everytime I go out I wish I had my camera with me to document the beauty.... One of these days I'll remember :) Miss seeing you - hope you can make it to services again soon :-)
I like your post - you have described our time-journey here so well :) I'm glad the leaves have been turning so nicely now and I'm glad it is warm enough to be pleasant raking them up.
I have a new pair of blue shiny boots to try...they are attached to some hoses and a machine...each day I am to put these boots on for 45 minutes, recline with my legs up and have this machine massage my legs to help with the circulation..feels good, except for the knee on the left leg...very painful..but I told the man who bought it to my house...If this will help my legs I will do it...No improvement as yet..he will be back in two weeks..
Two nice ladies came in and cleaned my house...which was truly wonderful....I really appreciated them for taking the time to do what I can't do...Watched them as they flew around..doing something in a few minutes that now takes me all day...Have not figured out what lesson I am being taught but it is not for me to question God...but to accept the day to day lessons he teaches.
A very nice young lady...brought me some berries yesterday..they are wonderful...Don't you love fresh fruit..I remember Pop's apple orchard...and the wonderful smell of the apples and the cherries...he had a lot of sour cherries...it was fun to go pick your own...to put in pies..
Glad you are enjoying them. I thought local berries were about over because last week's order for the fire dept had to come from New York, but I guess the cooler temps this week extended the season some.
Sounds fun: ) We played tourist a little bit tonight. There is a tower that the kids always ask to climb, but we hardly ever take the time. Tonight I pulled right in and surprised them. It was fun.
hey i saw your comment for the "what's your opinion about the white on black" you asked how to change the font color.... to do that you simply do < font color=put chosen color > after = you put the name of the color you want, also not all colors work.... the colors i know of are hotpink, limegreen, yellow, red, blue and brown. notice when it's a two-worded color there's no space to make the two-worded color work you can't have a space between the two words and , like all the colors, you can't have a space between the equal sign and the color.

WE were served dinner by a Gettysburg College Group call Campus Cooks...and entertained by a group of college girls...we had Chicken,mashed potatoes, corn and green beans..pineapple upside down cake for desert. They go around to restaurants and college dining room for donations...are going to be cooking for us at least twice a month...
I reslly enjoyed it....
