My lords, my ladies, and everybody else here not sitting on a cushion...

Today... today, you find yourselves equals...

For you are all equally blessed. For I have the pride, the privilege, nay, the pleasure of introducing to you to a knight, sired by knights. A knight who can trace his lineage back beyond Charlemagne. I first met him atop a mountain near Jerusalem, praying to God, asking his forgiveness for the Saracen blood spilt by his sword. Next, he amazed me still further in Italy when he saved a fatherless beauty from the would-be ravishing of her dreadful Turkish uncle.
In Greece he spent a year in silence just to better understand the sound of a whisper. And so without further gilding the lily and with no more ado, I give to you, the seeker of serenity, the protector of Italian virginity, the enforcer of our Lord God, the one, the only, Sir Ulllrrrich von Lichtenstein!

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week.

I was just wanting to see what's up with everybody. Also, for those that don't know, I started a new job this past monday. I work for Byer's Engineering, based out of Atlanta. They have a contract with AT&T so I work in one of their buildings in Baton Rouge. With week one almost in the bag, I think I will like this job. On the surface it seems very different from my previous job at Wink, mainly because I will now be working on projects that place and repair telephone and cable lines instead of projects that place concrete and steel supports in industrial plants. So now i will be wearing a very stylish, bright orange, reflective vest instead of a hard hat, a flame-retardant jumpsuit and steel-toe boots.

It's a step (or several steps) up from frying cheese sticks at brew-bacher's, though free food was a bonus. That is what has been going on with me lately.

I'm glad you like your new job! The orange vest sounds exciting!

I'm so excited for you! Nikki and I are now watching Phantom of the Opera to get in the spirit of things. Every time they sing instead of simply speak I laugh inside and think of you.

Last week with Brianne in the house...

It feels kinda weird, especially with our works schedules at different hours. A positive is that I will be in a different room next week, my current room will be converted to a craft room, so not a room I will be spending a lot of time in anymore. If anyone has advice on how to act when you are the last of the kids left living with the parents please let me know, I am not really sure how I should feel about it.

Anyway, good luck to you Brianne and I am happy for you.

Okay, enough of that sappy stuff. Mardis Gras is pretty much 60 minutes old, I won't have anything going on that I know of until work tonight hopefully people will still be down in New Orleans during that time.

What is going on with everybody else?

I am the literary equivalent of a Big Mac and Fries.

Nothing is going on. It's a boring week so far. You should turn your "new" room into a giant fort.

Fort? I don't think so:) Jared, it's snowing here. Snowing!

Something new for me to post...

I am officially back to being employed by Brew-Bacher's Grill in Gonzales. So, yay income. I can now go from complaining about not having a job to complaining about how I have to work, just kidding. Now that I got that out of the way. I know there is some kind of event that will be occurring late next week that I have willingly agreed to put myself through again, but I forgot what it was. I know to certain people it is a really big deal. Oh well, it will come to me.

How is everyone else doing?
  • gone2neptune
    LOL. O my...I can't believe you'd forget. ;)

Only a few more days till we go see Harry Potter and then the following week we will be spending a few days in Toledo Bend, LA. After that it'll be back to job searching and all that boring stuff.
