Finally!
I was getting afraid to touch my new machine, since I was busy while the excitement was still fresh enough to overpower my fear of hurting the very sophisticated machine. But in the last two days, I finally started getting acquainted with it. It isn't as difficult to adjust to this wayyyyyy better machine than I thought. I almost think the embroidery functions are easier than the regular sewing! Now that I have actually used it, I am going to start into classes to learn the ins and outs of it. I'm excited to finally be working up to using it for my projects. :) Good thing, too, with baby's arrival coming up. I have a lot of work to do!
Were you ever afraid of a jump in technology? For me, this was like jumping from VHS to Blueray, lol.

What kind of machine did you get? Yes I have been very afraid at times but it can be sooooo much fun! -
I have a Husqvarna Viking Scandinavia 400. It was way on sale, so I bought more machine than I was expecting to get for 10 years. -
Way to go! I'm the type that wants to stay up until 3 AM so I know what is going on with my new toys. -
Okay, I had to look up 'blueray'. Does that tell you anything?? :)... I was terrified of touching my machine and my mother in law showed me how to use it. She'd had an embroidery machine for years. -
lol, yeah, blueray is new. But that's why I thought it a good analogy. I can do a hidden hem on my pants on this machine, even -
even! I had a class yesterday, and am SO excited even for the basic sewing that will be easier. -
Glad your class went well!
