Cloth Diaper Shower for Suzy!

Many of you have heard the story by now, or at least bits and pieces...

(Hoping I get the details right, correct me if I'm wrong here...)

Suzy and Shawn Brewer have been waiting for a child for over seven years now. They were matched with a birth mother on Friday, and the mother went into labor by Saturday! They left for Florida right away, and less than 48 hours after they got word, they have a beautiful baby girl in their arms! (I have not seen pictures, but I just know... she MUST be beautiful!)

The stats from Suzy's FB page:
Her name is Marilynn Ruth (after their grandmothers)
She is 5 pounds 13 ounces, 19 inches long

We are praying for the next 48 hours that the paperwork goes through with no hiccups.

Suzy has been on pleonast for a long time. Longer than me, and that's a long time! ;) She's been a very active member of lots of groups and many of us have prayed with her as she has waited for a child. Now we rejoice with her!

Suzy has expressed a desire to use cloth diapers with her baby. She talked about it on her last blog, actually, but I don't think she was expecting to be holding her baby so very soon! If you would like to help Suzy with her cloth diaper stash and send her a gift that she REALLY WANTS and will use basically DAILY on that tiny baby's bum, you can chip in with us!
