Dog Food Question

Has anyone ever used the Kirkland Brand (Costco generic) dog food?

Our dog is almost 7 yrs old and has no known food allergies or special dietary needs. We've always fed him Eukenuba. We noticed tonight, though, that the Kirkland brand is nearly half the price. So, thought I'd see if anyone had tried it.

    I am kind of a dog food snob, feeding only ProPlan. My dogs have had little or no odor, excellent coats, easy clean-ups, and good health, all of which are vital to my having a pet.

    However, it wouldn't hurt to try something new as long as you ease into the new diet. Watch for any changes in behavior or appearance, and if they are acceptable, then your budget will benefit and your dog will not lack anything. He would probably enjoy something different.

    My friend uses it on her big dogs and likes it just fine. I tried it on my dog and she got really horrible gas, so we switched back.

    It is worth a try!
