Interesting
There was a headline that said "WAC hires PR firm to promote Boise St. for a BCS game" (paraphrased)
I watched a few minutes of the Boise game tonight, and apparently the PR firm that the WAC hired was ESPN.
My second observation was that when you're on the outside looking in at the BCS and certain powerful entities want you to get a BCS game... holding is totally legal. There were massive holds in front of Kellen Moore giving him plenty of time to pick his receivers.

on game day today, all of the desk guys were saying that boise wasn't really that good...they thought oregon should have been above them in the rankings...but then oregon may go down tonight too, unless stanford chokes -
btw, holding is evidently completely legal if you are blocking for a heisman candidate running on a national title contending team as well...Ingram is a great back (probably the best in the country, from what i have seen), but he looks even better when SEC officials NEVER call a hold on the O line in front of him, no matter how obvious the hold is...
