airsoft gun test...
as you can see in this photo, there is a a shotgun, its my brothers and its a double eagle triple burst, with about 320-350fps, then below it is my ak47 which is an echo1 redstar and has about 400fps. well we had to figure out which one actualy hurts more, my gun that shoots faster and harder? or his, which shoots 3 at a time.
well, using my brother as a test subject, i tested it out on his arm at a range of about 3 feet. and then after much screaming and pain, i took some pictures to show you the results and to compare the welts. (WARNING: if you have a weak stomach, you might want to skip the picture.)
as you can tell my gun gave the bigger welt and drew more blood, but, the test subject says that the shotgun hurts more than the ak.
what does this means for us airsofters? well, if where your at is anything like where were at then there is a limit to how much fps your able to play with, our limit is 400fps. but i suggest that if you have a spring sniper rifle that you should be able to have up to 500fps, yes, it has more power, but it probably wont hurt as much as getting shot like 3 or so times by somebody's AEG shooting at about 400fps.

500fps is pretty high, what about 450fps?
Did I tell you that my airsoft gun isn't working, right now? I'm thinking of taking it to Michael Hersey. It's shooting air, and the clip is feeding, but I think something in between is preventing the BB's from getting into the barrel.
